Fashionable Raymond Weil Celebrates its Fab Fortieth with Maestro Beatles Limited Edition

Raymond Weil Maestro Beatles Limited Edition

Raymond Weil is a fashion watch brand with deep connections to music and musicians; recent releases have included a chronograph with Gibson guitar DNA and a tourbillon watch inspired by a cello. To mark its 40th anniversary, the Geneva-based, family-owned brand has released an exclusive timepiece that celebrates the most iconic rock band of all time: the Raymond Weil Maestro Beatles Limited Edition.

The Raymond Weil Maestro Beatles Limited Edition, which is limited to 3,000 numbered pieces, comes in a 39.5-mm polished steel case and features a truly unique, galvanic silver dial that pays clever tribute to the Fab Four’s legendary musical career. Fortuitously for a watch design, the Beatles made 13 albums; the titles of 12 of them are written around the dial, occupying the spaces between the hour indices. The 13th album, “Help,” is represented by the 4 o’clock marker, which is a silhouetted image of John, Paul, George, and Ringo from that 1965 album’s famous cover. The official Beatles logo appears above the 6 o’clock position, below the central hours, minutes, and seconds hands, and the date appears in a window at 3 o’clock.

The watch is powered  by a Swiss-made automatic movement and comes on a polished steel bracelet. The movement is visible through a smoked, sapphire window in the back of the watch, etched with the official Beatles logo; the limited edition number is also engraved on the caseback.

Each Raymond Weil Maestro Beatles Limited Edition watch will be presented in a special box adorned with the Beatles logo on the top, while the ring of 13 album titles used on the dial is reproduced on the inside of the lid. The watch will carry a retail price of $1,395.
