Introducing the Panerai Radiomir Oro Rosso 3 Days GMT


A special 200 piece edition of the Panerai Radiomir Oro Rosso 3 Days GMT (PAM00598) was unveiled during the Watches & Wonders watch trade show that began September 30, 2014. The Oro Rosso 3 Days GMT is presented in Panerai’s cushion-shaped case the measures 47 mm and features wire lugs. The dial deep blue is quite striking in combination with the polished 5N red gold of the hands and case.

The signature sandwich dial construction, with its blue satin soleil (sunburst) finish, has luminous material that has been colored to have an aged appearance. The same treatment is used for the hands. The writing “RADIOMIR PANERAI” and “GMT” are in a matching gilt finish. The crown is signed “OP.”

Inside, is Panerai’s hand-wound in-house caliber 3001/10 which is distinguished by skeletonized bridges and circular graining on the main plate. All the mechanics are visible, including a 3 day power reserve indicator, with the mainspring underneath. The movement beats at 3Hz and has 207 components, including 21 jewels.

Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, second time zone, power reserve indicator on the back. The central, arrow-shaped 2nd time zone hand is controlled by the crown.

The Panerai Radiomir Oro Rosso 3 Days GMT is paired with blue alligator strap and red gold buckle. Water-resistance is 50 meters.
