Patek Philippe Ref 5204 in platinum at Antiquorum

A complicated, and rare, Patek Philippe Ref. 5204 platinum timepiece that was originally sold in May of this year will be auctioned tomorrow at Antiquoroum’s New York auction. The estimate is $250-$350K. Notably, the same reference in platinum is also available for sale on eBay right now, with a “buy it now” of $296,999. Furthermore, the price brand new is $350K, so it will be interesting to see what it sells for.

The 40 mm case is platinum with a silver dial and applied white gold baton indexes. The baton hands are in white gold. The functions include a split-seconds chronograph, perpetual calendar, moonphase, leap year indicator and day/night indicator. It is accompanied by the original fitted wooden box, certificate of origin and additional solid platinum case back, setting pin, and a leather folder with instructions.
