Jaeger-LeCoultre are continuing their run of sophisticated timepieces with the release of not one but three new models from their esteemed Duomètre line.
The Duomètre Sphérotourbillon, Duomètre Chronographe and Duomètre Quantième Lunaire watches will cater to those who demand technical performance and pure masculine aesthetic from their timing instruments.
The Duomètre Sphérotourbillon sports a striking design that proudly showcases the inner workings of a fine tourbillon which can be set with exacting precision.
Set next to the cutaway dial featuring ppaline magnetite grey and gold-plated appliques, a titanium cage conatins the intricate components that are contained around a second axis tilted at 20° – a move which enables the watch to defy the effects of gravity in all positions.
Watch movement sat in 42 mm 18 k rose gold case to complement the internal manual winding mechanical heart, Jaeger Caliber 382.
Attractive visual attributes to get this movement include hours, minutes, and seconds. There is even a calendar with hand indication, a 24-hour time zone and the above-mentioned spherical Taubilon rotation mechanism.
The 50-hour power reserve function is matched with a 50-meter water resistance rating. The aesthetic aspect of the watch is tied together with a gentle hand crocodile leather.
Flying the chronograph flag for the trio is the timepiece which proudly boasts Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Dual-Wing concept – a technical characteristic which helped the watchmaker earn a place in the highest echelons of artistic watchmaking.
Dial Function A beautifully crafted opaline gray magnetite gray tone is housed in a hand-made winding inner caliber 380 motion-driven hour, minute, and second sub-dials chronograph hours and minutes. Two independent buckets also make up the timer, each with a reserve of power.
Holding it all securely in place is a 42mm rose gold case that affords up to 50 metres of water resistance. A matte chocolate brown leather strap polishes off the Chronographe perfectly.
Duomètre Quantième Lunaire
Jaeger-LeCoultre takes on one of the most elaborate calendar complications in the Quantième Lunaire, a timepiece which satisfies the need for day, date, month and the usual fair of timing information.
The Dual-Wing concept again makes an appearance here to provide precision timekeeping paired with a highly functional calendar feature.
The opaline magnetite grey dial boasts hours, minutes, seconds, calendar, and moon-phase displays all driven by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s mechanically wound Calibre 381 boasting a 50 hour power reserve.
This movement is set with 42mm 18k rose gold with a 50m water resistance rating and matching with only crocodile skin with 18k gold folding buckle.
