The perfect relationship between Breitling and Bentley

Breitling and Bentley’s partnership has been a winning mix since day one. The next year, the Swiss watchmaker unveiled a special edition’Bentley Le Mans’ watch to commemorate the car manufacture’s win at the 2003 Le Mans car race. The two companies later awakened to create Breitling for Bentley — Breitling-produced timepieces inspired by the famous British luxury cars. Today, Breitling for Bentley has been popular amongst the celebrity collection –comic Jon Lovitz, musician Usher, and soccer celebrity David Beckham count themselves as fans. Popular Breitling for Bentley Designs Not only is the watch called after Bentley’s famous 6.75-liter engine seen within their own Mulsanne limousines, however, the caseback of the watch is a small rendition of Bentley wheel rims. Just like most of the Breitling for Bentley watch models, the 6.75 chronograph comes with a bezel featuring the Bentley honeycomb radiator grille motif. On the technical dial of this 6.75 A44362 are two big windows to signify the date, along with the 3 subsidiary dials. Sized in an impressive 49mm, the Breitling for Bentley GMT A47362 is a monster of a watch. Besides the timepiece’s unforgettable looks, the Breitling for Bentley GMT is very practical too.

From the 1920s there was a bunch of well-to-do British drivers who dubbed themselves as the”Bentley Boys” because of their passion for Bentley automobiles. A vital member of the group was racecar winner Woolf Barnato, who’d later go on to become the owner of this Bentley company. In honor of the man, the brand introduced the Breitling for Bentley Barnato version. The lively dial with the three dashboard-inspired registers of this Barnato A25368 is housed within a 49mm case. On the flipside, the caseback allows a view of the COSC-certified automatic motion via a seven-spoke wheel design. The Breitling for Bentley Flying B series is markedly different from the brand’s other watches. Sporting a rectangular case as opposed to a round one, the Flying B A28362 is a tasteful tribute to Bentley’s famous vintage’Winged B’ emblem. In fact, that iconic emblem is found on the caseback of the Breitling for Bentley Flying B A28362 timepiece. Considering that the bezel of this A28362 is smooth, the honeycomb radiator grille design is changed to the dialup, which also features an off-centered pair of overlapping circular regions for the primary hour and moments indicator and a small seconds sub-dial. It is topped with a prominent date window at 12 o’clock. These two luxury watch companies might be in divergent fields, yet they are equally driven by the pursuit of high performance, mechanical command, and beautiful aesthetics. Judging by their own watches, Breitling and Bentley is indeed a perfect set.
