Victorinox introduced compass bumper and paracord strap

Developed in partnership with Swedish brand Naimakka, the hand-woven nylon cord was originally used for parachute suspension lines. The military spec nylon strands can be unraveled in a survival situation to replace shoelaces, build a shelter or raft, to sew with, make a fishing net, or to make a fire. This year Victorinox added a paracord strap and compass bumper option to the rugged Inox watch line. The paracord strap was already available at Victorinox, but now it can be purchased as an accessory.

The paracord strap is available with an exclusive Swiss Army knife that features a special blade for attaching the strap to the watch case. Colors are camo, black, red or sand.

As for the removable compass bumper, it was designed to protect the Inox watch from scratching and damage, allowing it to worn in extreme situations without damaging the watch case. It is available in red, blue, black, or translucent grey, and is marked with the four cardinal points of a compass.
