TAG Heuer Revamps The Carrera Calibre 16 In Black Titanium

TAG Heuer

One of TAG Heuer‘s most popular watches will receive a lightweight remodel for the 2017 Modern Portfolio.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the chronometer Carrera Caliber 16, the latest revision of the model will see the watch re-cased smooth matte black titanium.

The new model is a clear nod to the superiority of modern businessmen with its surprising choice of material – a 43mm grade 2 micro-blasted black PVD titanium frame with a black ceramic bezel and beige line of sight.

Those familiar with Carrera’s name will realize that some of the design clues borrowed from the 1960s style Carrera watches with wide open-open and thin bezels with double-chronograph counters located at 6 and 12 points. Another historical inspiration for the design elements found in the carved plane of the lugs was the original Carrera model.

The Sport Retention Proof TAG Heuer Caliber 16 has an automatic chronometer 3 o’clock a day and a date function marker and a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock. Visibility is assisted by black gold and beige SuperLuminova Arabic numerals.

Flip table will show a sapphire case dismissed, proudly showing the intricate automatic caliber 16 movement mechanics with a decorated body weight with the Cortez de Geneve model.

Carrera Caliber 16 is water resistant to 100 meters, equipped with an embattled calf belt designed for the era of grace and grace.
